Interested in Science?
We’re always looking for new volunteers for a variety of SciHigh projects. We need volunteers for classroom and youth group visits throughout the GTA.
No Minimum Time Commitment
The time volunteers devote to SciHigh is totally up to them. We have sessions that range from 1 hour to a full day.
Who are our Volunteers?
Our volunteers are graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and staff. New volunteers are always paired with experienced volunteers.
The SciHigh program has been running since 1997 and the success of the program is due in large part to our excellent volunteers. Our volunteers are graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and staff from the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital, the University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children.
If you’re interested in science and enjoy working with children and youth, volunteer for SciHigh! We’re always looking for new volunteers for a variety of SciHigh projects. We need volunteers for classroom and youth group visits throughout the GTA, tutoring at Toronto area science clubs and youth programs, and volunteers to run science day sessions at Mount Sinai Hospital.
There is no time commitment when you sign up to be a SciHigh volunteer. The time volunteers devote to SciHigh is totally up to them. We have sessions that range from 1 hour to a full day, and volunteers can go on as many or as few visits as you like. New volunteers are always paired with experienced volunteers and we have information sessions throughout the year to present our new (and tried and tested) experiments.
