Pipetting
Students are taught how to use a pipette, one of the most commonly used tools in a research laboratory. Students will need to learn how to use the pipette to measure very small quantities of coloured solutions to make up new colours. This activity is a prerequisite for the electrophoresis activity which can both be presented in the same demonstration.
