Each year we offer internships for grade 11 and 12 students. These highly competitive internships are offered both at March break and in the summer. To be eligible to apply for these internships, you must be 16 years of age (by the start of the internship), and have completed, or are in the process of completing both grade 11 Biology and Chemistry. These internship opportunities are paid positions.
March Break Internship Program:
Our March break internship program is open to grade 11 and 12 students who have completed (or are currently taking) grade 11 Biology and Chemistry. Students must be 16 years old by the start of the internship. Students will spend the week of March 10th to 14th 2025, in a lab at the LTRI shadowing trainees and working in the lab. All interns must be in full compliance of the SHS immunization policy.

Quinn Family Summer Internship Program:
Our summer internship program is open to grade 11 and 12 students who have completed grade 11 Biology and Chemistry and are at least 16 year old by start of the internship. The internship will run for eight weeks from June 30 to August 22 2025. Students will work full-time for the duration of the internship in a lab at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital. All interns must be in full compliance of the SHS immunization policy.
